I am a former quilt artist and longtime gardener creating items including collages, note cards, and jewelry out of preserved plant material and impressions captured from nature. In all of the work nature is my muse. Since every plant in nature is unique, I choose from an infinite variety of shape, texture and color when creating my pieces. I hope that my audience will walk away from my work with a renewed sense of awe for the natural world and an increased desire to interact with that world and to protect it.
