Linda McCarrey takes her visual cue from architectural elements, architectural cross sections and primitive totem forms. Large-scale mixed-media paintings and works on heavily primed paper are her forte.

Many thin layers of pigment are applied, wiped down and drawn into with graphite and colored pencils and embellished with wood, stone, rag papers, fiber, gold leaf, beads and clay.

Linda McCarrey's original visuals and custom work hang in private collections from Massachusetts to Florida to Colorado. Her work can also be found in the corporate collections of Saks Fifth Avenue and Seaman-Patrick Paper Company.
