Mark Groaning is most noted for his vibrant whimsical window paintings he calls Window Views. Window Views are hand painted on both sides of the glass and often the images spill out on to the wooden frames.

Window Views are best displayed hanging in an existing window casing as an alternative to drapes, shades or blinds. The translucent paint that I use allows diffuse light to shine through while maintaining your privacy.

Groaning explains, 'The world is full of art as experienced in day to day life. I'm inspired by everything I see and experience: people I converse with, a happy dog walking by, a cat lazing in the sun, a steaming cup of coffee, bombastic bouquets of blossoms, fractured/layered abstracts, scattered homes at the ocean's edge, happiness, sadness… all that comes into contact with that which I am, inspires me to give it a voice to be heard and a form to be seen and experienced.'
