Jafar Shoja creates what he calls 'Dysfunctional Teapots', these being sculptural rather than functional ceramics. His whimsical and colorful ceramic pieces are the latest direction for this New Hampshire artist who, along with being a master painter of Persian miniatures, has spent a lifetime in the arts.

Shoja says of his work, 'Teapots as a subject give me endless freedom to use any forms and colors.'
