Hsu Studios is a husband and wife team operating a small studio in rural West Virginia. For more than 33 years we have produced works of art in various media.

Our chosen medium for our jewelry is aluminum, one of the most ubiquitous materials in the world. With this basic element found in almost every industry, our challenge is to create using a common material in an uncommon way. We texture, then anodize the mill-finished aluminum; anodizing oxidizes the surface and allows it to be dyed, providing an infinite array of color possibilities.

We take special care to construct vibrant jewelry that is enduring, lightweight and comfortable to wear every day. Our jewelry findings are sterling silver, US surgical steel, or niobium.
