Our intention is to create the most comfortable and beautifully attractive footwear on the planet.

Each pair is made with love and integrity by our family here in rural West Virginia.

We choose only the most beautiful full grain, soft and supple cow hides and exotic leathers for the bodies of those shoes. The English calf skin that we emboss, air brush and hand paint is the finest leather available. All of the artwork is done on the leather while it is flat. The pieces are then glued and stitched together. Next we laminate an orthopedic mid-filler to a leather insole and stitch the upper to the insole, soaked in warm water, hand-lasted, and dried in a hot box where the leather shrinks down onto the foot-shaped last.

We exhibit our work at craft shows around the country including the Smithsonian Museum and the Philadelphia Museum. Our work has recently been featured in the Lark Books publication 'Crafting Hand Made Shoes'.
