Metal sculptor Bud Scheffel started his career as a creative director with top
advertising agencies in New York, Milan, and Tokyo. Always creating his own niche, he started his
own ad agency in the 1980's, then started to design original products for the gift industry,
including metal wind sculpture for companies like Walt Disney stores and the Discovery channel,
along with many museum stores, garden centers and gift shops throughout the country.
Because demand was so great for his sculpture, he formed his own metal foundry with state of the art
equipment. He became a part of the new age of 21st century metal working by crafting his
sculptures from metals like stainless steel, copper, brass, and con-ten steel, and adding
accents in glass and natural elements like stone.
Earth Saver Wind Sculpture has become so artistically advanced that Bud's customers are
able to create their own sculpture by simply adding or subtracting existing componemts,
that take the 'modular' idea to a whole new level. This ingenious concept has
allowed collected sculptures to change regularly in size, shape, color and composition.
