As an experienced painter of portraits, landscape, animals, still life, and other subjects, my favorite subjects are the people and animals around me, as well as scenes from the Pioneer Valley area. My primary medium is watercolor, with acrylics as an alternative.

I work either for my own pleasure or on a commisssion basis, from either life or photographs. Although I always drew and painted as a hobby, since my semi-retirement I have spent the past few years painting more seriously and improving my skills. I like to paint daily, and maintain a studio and gallery in my home at Lake Wyola in Shutesbury, Massachusetts.
