Bold color photography of 'people, places and things' from around the world are
the hallmark of my fine art images.
As a photographer looking through
the camera's lens, I see the world differently. I notice details and t
extures invisible to the naked eye, and the interplay of color, light, line and gesture draw me in.
Every window, door, boat and empty bottle tells a story.
I move more slowly; I breathe more deeply when I have a camera in hand.
I, to quote an old cliché, stop to smell (or rather photograph) the roses.
And when I do, with each click of the shutter I become a part of that
which I am photographing. And each picture I take becomes a part of me.
