Coat Check and Gift Wrap Services
Support the Marlborough Public Schools Music Association
Suppose you’ve come to Paradise City with someone on your holiday gift list.
How do you keep your purchase a surprise? The
experienced and talented gift wrappers will decorate
your holiday purchases with Paradise City's signature ribbons,
bows and glossy paper. And you can also check that bulky winter
coat and packages while you visit the show!
Since 1998, the enthusiastic volunteers from the
Marlborough Public Schools Music Association have been operating a coat and package
check, as well as this show's holiday gift wrap station, to benefit music in the
public schools.
The Marlborough Public Schools Music Association(MPSMA) is a non-profit organization formed specifically to
support all music students in the Marlborough school system, with an emphasis on the higher grades.
Their financial assistance includes vocal and dance groups as well as instrumental. The members
are the parents of the music students, the students themselves, the music teachers and numerous
community members with a love for music and a strong belief in the importance of music education.
This volunteer organization provides revenue that:
- Enables the Association to present annual scholarships to graduating seniors who will be
continuing their education in the music field
- Provides a variety of student functions (such as an Awards Banquet) throughout the year
- Supports student music programs and activities
- Sends students to cultural performances and on performing trips, including
competitive performances
In addition, the Association works with the Music Department Coordinator and music teachers
to provide assistance in acquiring items not funded in the school's budget, provides chaperones
necessary on buses, parades and cultural activities and provides extra services to help concerts
run efficiently.
Over the years, the Association has raised thousands of dollars for the music
program, purchasing many new items (such as sound equipment, acoustical panels), providing performance dresses and
suits for concerts and competitions, and repairing older instruments.
Paradise City is proud to support the Marlborough Public Schools Music Association, and we
hope that you feel the same way. Thank you for your generous support!
