As the warmth of springtime erases the memory of the latest long and dreary winter, enthusiastic gardeners (and you know who you are!) are already dreaming of summer vistas. Visitors admire a sculpture Your visions are filled with ever more voluptuous perennials, burbling lily ponds, stately terraces, and serene strolls along meandering pathways.

Spring is really the perfect time to plan paths and patios, refresh and add to outdoor furnishings and create visual focal points. Just as evergreen shrubs and trees, stone walls and raised terraces add architectural interest to a landscape, so arbors, gazebos, sculpture, fountains and furniture bring dimension, distinction and imagination to your site. It's almost like composing a painting; once the backbone, or structure, of your landscape is in place, adding color and texture becomes much easier!

You will be delighted by the many artists at Paradise City who draw inspiration from the landscape. They aren't all in the Sculpture Garden, of course. Stroll around the show to look for all of the fine and functional art inspired by nature!

And, finally, remember to cast your vote for the People's Choice Awards for Outdoor Art - your favorite piece designed for display in Paradise City's Sculpture Garden.
