Award-winning jeweler and author, Linda Kaye-Moses, a graduate of the University of Vermont (Bachelor of Arts Degree), has exhibited her unruly jewels at major juried shows and gallery exhibitions since 1976. Curating and Jurying: She curated the exhibitions: “Millennial Metal; The Art of Precious Metal Clay; and Re-Collected/Re-Invented” and “The Narrative Craft Object” (The Bignell Gallery, CT) and was a final juror for the international jewelry competition, The Saul Bell Design Awards. Her unruly jewelry has been published: “In the Picture; Framing the Visual Arts” (publ: Oxford University Press, Australia) “Art Jewelry Today & Art Jewelry Today 2, 3, & 4” (publ: Schiffer Craft) “Fabulous Jewelry from Found Objects” (publ: Lark Books) “Narrative Jewelry; Tales From the Toolbox” (publ: Schiffer Craft) Author of the following books: Pure Silver Metal Clay Beads (publ:Quarry Books) Roots; Stems, and Branches; A Recollection (publ:self) The Argentera and The Tales of the Six Arabesques; (publ:Green Fire Press) Teaching: She has taught jewelrymaking in the US since 1996 & in 2001, in New Zealand. My Process
My unruly jewels are wearable art, driven by a delight in the body-adorned––an outward expression of who we hope to become. I transform precious metal, vitreous enamels, and gemstones, using ancient and modern jewelry techniques to create jewels to last for generations.
