I say I'm inspired by nature and nostalgia, but what does that even mean? Childhood wonder. The delight in watching dandelion seeds float through the air, or seeing fiddleheads unfurl. Holding my grandmothers hand as we walked to the park to find baseballs and pick wildflower bouquets that she treated like a dozen roses. The soothing words spoken to an anxious mind "take a deep breath sweet pea". Nostalgia that tugs so hard it sometimes takes my breath away. This is what inspires me. I feel, sometimes it seems, too much. And if you do too, well, we're kindred spirits! It helps to have something that gives weight to emotion, that reminds you when you begin to forget.
