I live, work & play on the outskirts of Woodstock, New York. My home & studio look out onto the beauty that is the Catskill Mountains/ Hudson Valley, where inspiration visits me on the wings of butterflies, the crests of waves, the edge of night. I study art & nature and have been designing jewelry for over 30 years. I enjoy creating art that draws attention to the splendor and fragility of the natural world, often making pieces larger than life so that one can’t help but take notice of the beautiful details. I am especially drawn to the winged creatures - butterflies, moths and birds. Their gift of flight evokes a sense of freedom and spirituality. Over many years of exhibiting at art shows, it has become apparent to me that the work is also about human connection. I see it when people’s eyes light up as they explore the collection and try pieces on. I hear it in the stories that are shared when a certain piece evokes a strong feeling, spiritual connection or memory.

Intricate bead-weaving by hand, using tiny glass "seed" beads, gemstones, and a needle thinner than a cat's whisker. Inspired primarily by nature with hints of mythology, fairy tales and poetry.
