Growing up in the backwoods of Vermont during the 1960s & ’70s, creativity was shaped by nature. River rocks were Legos & pennies flattened on train tracks were our Easy-Bake Oven. A life bookended by a poster girl mid-century boho hip mom. The early years instilled a lifelong appreciation for beauty, restraint, and authenticity. Early 90’s NYC, then Los Angeles in ’98, a career in professional photography led to collabs with LA’s leading stylists, editors, & costumers. In 2001, creativity shifted intuitively from photography to jewelry. In 2011, family responsibilities brought a return to small town Bennington, VT, to care for elders, relationships were cultivated with international gem cutters, custom-designed gemstones that became integral to the collections. During this chapter, creative work continued alongside a deep commitment to caregiving, an experience that was both grounding and transformative. The work and perspective continues to evolve, rooted in curiosity, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose, exploring gratitude and an enduring commitment to creating objects and experiences that reflect quiet beauty. The intention behind the jewelry is rooted in distillation — creating pieces that enhance rather than overwhelm, offering subtle elegance without distraction.
